Whether it is family camp at Trail West or a high school trip to Frontier Ranch, camp should start when you land, not after you sign a rental agreement.

Two Young Life properties in Buena Vista
Trail West Lodge is Young Life’s all inclusive family camp, week long summer stays for the whole family. Frontier Ranch is the original Young Life camp, dating to the 1920s, sitting at the base of Mount Princeton and hosting high school camps along with church, school, and group retreats. Both are in Buena Vista, and both leave your ride to camp up to you. That is where we come in.
Two airports to Buena Vista
From Denver International, Buena Vista is about three hours south and west; from Colorado Springs it is closer, about two hours. We serve both airports, meet you at baggage claim, load the family or the group and the gear, and deliver you to the camp gate. See our Denver to Buena Vista route, or our Colorado Springs service if you fly into COS.
The camps leave transportation to you
Both camps are all inclusive once you arrive, but getting there is on you, and the suggestion is a rental car. A rental means a counter line with tired kids, a long unfamiliar drive, and a car sitting unused all week. A private transfer skips all of it: one fixed price, a professional chauffeur, door to door. Traveling with little ones for family camp? Our team installs CPS certified car seats, a credential almost no car service can match.
Work crew, students, and church groups
Beyond family camp, we move Young Life work crew, summer staff, student groups, and church and school retreats to both Trail West and Frontier Ranch in Sprinter vans that seat up to 14, single trips or multiple vehicles. Tell us your headcount and arrival window and we will size the fleet. See our airport transportation and group transportation.
